I knew that... I knew that I will miss everything here in Bristol... I knew that I will cry... Even now the thought of going to bed scares me out... This will be the last night I am sleeping on the bed in a room at 26 Mackie Road... Tomorrow I won't have the time to sleep as I will be leaving Bristol at 4am...

Just now, I went for a dinner with my friends and housemate... The feeling is already indescribable... I enjoyed the night but then the feeling is in such a dilemma... Echo passed me a present with a gift and asked me to promise her that I will only read when I am in the place and I promised her....

The comments left regarding my Facebook status made me teared... I wanted to go home so badly but I miss everyone and everything in Bristol here... The friends who came with me from Malaysia, the friends I met here, the housemates, the places I used to hang out, the university, the weather, the everything.... Time indeed flies and in less than 48 hours, I'll be stepping on a land where my roots are... A place I called home...

Pardon me for not updating my blog for such a long time... I seem to be losing the blogging bug... I still remember that I can blog everyday and even blog a few times in a day... But not now... Holidays make me lazy... I am so glued to Youtube everyday... From the moment that I woke up till the minute I went to bed...

With refer to the title of this post, yes... I had nightmare again last night... Or maybe this morning... I am not sure either... The dream was so scary... It was a murder scene... I can see very clearly the victims of the murder... And they are my aunt's family... Four of them died and left a cousin which is only 8 years old... So poor thing... I think I was crying in the dream... It was so brutal...

It started at a housing estate where many people gathered in front of a particular house... And I was in the car driven by my mum... We passed by the crowd and I shouted to my mum, "That is XXX..." He was sprawling on the floor and underneath him, there was my cousin... What a scene...

After a while, I was talking to the 8 year old cousin asking her some stuff and she replied me as though she knew nothing about her losing every member of her family...

I mentioned this in Plurk and Chareli told me to let it out to ward off the bad dream... So here I am blogging about this... I don't think I will dare to tell this dream to anyone in my family... I hope I can have a good sleep tonight... No more dreaming about all these...

It's all coming to an end...

Let's say bye bye to the books... 3 years of degree has come to an end... 2 years in Taylor's Business School, Subang Jaya and 1 year in UWE, Bristol... It is indeed a very wonderful experience... Thanks papa for insisting me to complete my final year in Bristol...

The 2 years back in TBS was the best part of college life... Having a big group of people for lunch at Foh Foh... Sometimes up to three big round table... Hahahaha... Seated at the third row during lecture but playing and talking during lecture... Sunway Pyramid is my second home during that time... I live so near there that I go there at least once a week... Muar is the place where I can go back so often... And of course when there's jie to drive me back all the time... The longest time when I did not go back was during exam when I did not go back for 3 weeks or 4 weeks... Normally, I will go back every week... Hehehehe...

The past 10 months plus might be tough... I might be slacking a lot... I might be feeling down most of the time... I might be distracted by those matters which are not supposed to bring me down... I had the lowest point of my life here... No doubt I had some enjoyable and memorable time with my darlings, housemates and friends here... Made many new friends from all around the globe... I learnt to cook, to do housework, to be responsible to my own room and even own life... Not being able to go home for the longest period of time... Not being able to manja with everyone back at home... Missing all the yumcha session and parties for the longest time ever... All these made me cherish each and everyone of them more as each day passes... I have a clearer view on what friends are... Those who misses me all the time even though I am not around... Those who can't wait for my return... Who will be there for you no matter where, what and who you are...

No doubt, I have so many memories with the darlings here... How I was once being accused for being a lesbian by my housemate... He suspected that I am a lesbian because I have never brought any guy back home... It's part of the fun anyway... I got to taste vinegar pig trotter, bak zhang, pig's stomach, etc here thanks to lovely friends and housemate... How I spent my first lonely Chinese New Year... My reunion lunch... My first time playing with snow and witnessing snow fall... Experiencing -10 degree Celcius temperature which made you can't stand and sit still... I ended up jumping in my room to keep myself warm... The list goes on and on...

I have no regret coming over here... I have no regret going back only after a year... It is my decision afterall... One more month before I am going back to somewhere I belong... Till we meet again... See you...

The Story of 26 Mackie Road...

Well, it's a story about my lovely housemates which sometimes annoy me so much... Imagine Shi Hui is pissed to the extent she doesn't want to talk... Imagine Shi Hui shouting at others... Imagine Shi Hui starts being calculative by not doing extra housework... It all happened in Bristol...

Let's start with me not wanting to talk and not wanting to do extra housework... As you all know, I have a housemate who always turn the kitchen into the post war site after he cooks... He still does that and I am numb over it now... I just make sure that I have a place to cook and that's it... He counts how many time we actually do housework based on the rota... Fine with it... Since he wants to be calculative, let him be... I won't be nice to do housework for him anymore... I used to be so kind that I washed all the containers that he left near the sink when I cleaned the kitchen... But not now anymore... He simply just pissed me so much...

One more thing, I can't believe someone can sleep with all those unwashed dishes plus bones... Yes he did... He put all those unwashed plates in his room, underneath his bed and there are some leftovers bones on the plates... Yucks... It is so disgusting... How did he actually fall asleep??? His room stinks to the extent I need to hold my breath while walking pass... He eats, smokes and put everything in his room and he never opens the window regardless of the weather... I am quite worried he might suffocate in his room one day while sleeping... Hahaha...

Moving on next is how Shi Hui shouts at my housemate... She pissed me off till I shouted, "Don't touch me and don't talk to me.." She keeps using exam as an excuse to make me do so much stuff for her... She cooked for me while I was having my exams... When my exam is done, I cooked for her... I am fine with it... But when I forgot to chop the garlic for her to dip the food, she made some annoying noise... When I always give her fork and spoon, she ended up using only the spoon... And when I gave her spoon only, she demanded for fork... She seems to do it on purpose... I got really really mad when she refused to take it herself with the excuse that she just sat down and that was when I really shouted at her... Oh my God... I just sat down too... Not forgetting that she can come into my room and use my MSN to scold our friends... It is so rude... I really hate her touching my MSN... I don't like her coming into my room and throw my soft toys everywhere... Arghhhh...

Housemate oh housemate... No wonder they always say staying under one roof is the most difficult thing... You might be able to get along well but staying together for quite some time will cause conflict... :(:(:(

Hahahahaha... I seriously can't bear to see my Blur Life so dead... So here I am to give it some entry... Let's start with Brandon Hill trip on 31st May 2o09... The day started when I had the weirdest taste bak zhang given to me by Echo... The shape itself is weird... Anyway, it's a Hongkong style bak zhang...

It looks like a Malay type of kuih...

The ingredients include green bean, lian zi, mushroom, pork, shrimp and red bean which are all tastesless... And of course the glutinous rice...

After the brunch, I head to the city centre to do some shopping... Hahaha... Bought myself a few clothes, facial products and of course hunting for souvenirs... I didn't forget you guys... About 3pm, Echo called me and told me that she is coming to find me... We walked, walked, walked and walked to a few parks which is quite nice... But I was complaining all the way because the weather is so hot and my legs are tired after the shopping... Hahaha... Show you guys some pictures of Brandon Hill which was the park that we decided to lie there and read a book... I realy really love the place...

After spending some time camwhoring and resting, we went to Obento for sushi... Met Pay Chee, Chloe and Soo Ching there as well... No pictures taken as we were busy talking... Had a great day... Called Mummy after I reach home after that because they are going to Bali the next morning...

Hahaha... My sincerest apology for not updating my blog again... Well, I am busy going out and watching drama... I am lazy to update blog because I am on Plurk and Twitter... Hahaha... Follow me follow me... It's at your right hand side... Below the chat box if I am not mistaken... For your information, I am done with the shipping box... I need to start with my luggage soon... Hehe... Wish me luck... But then MAS changed their hand-carry allowance... Meaning I have less 2 or 3 kgs can be carried on hand... Sad... :(

Enough about packing... So boring... Recently, I have been going out a lot... To visit Bristol of course... Suspension Bridge, Brandon Hill, Cabot Circus and many many places... Obviously eating places... Take for example yesterday... We had dim sum for lunch, ramen for dinner, raw oyster for supper... Had cider and vodka before supper... Hahahaha... Walked for like don't know how many kilometres... One single stretch can pass by 3-4 times... Ended up reaching home around 12am with tired legs... It was fun overall...

If I am not going out, I will be at home wasting time doing nothing... Facebook, MSN and Youtube... Hmmm... Youtbe and Facebook are more of a killer for me... I am so addicted to Restaurant City now... Arghhhh... Currently watching Pi Li MIT, a Taiwanese drama starring Xiao Gui, Aaron Yan from Fahrenheit and Fan Wei Qi... Quite nice... Not the typical Taiwanese love drama...

Hmmm... Family is back from Bali and cousin is getting married next week... Two events misseed... Sigh...

I want to cry now!!! I am starting to pack some stuff to be shipped back... So I started to take out those clothes that are no longer needed to be put into the box... To my surprise, after taking out those clothes which are already quite many, I realised I still have many many clothes in my wardrobe... How??? This is not inclusive of those folded in the wardrobe... Tell me how... I am going to faint soon... 40kgs of shipping + 3okgs of baggage allowance will never be enough for me... :(

Hello folks... I need to clarify something here... In my last post, I mentioned the closure of this blog... Please get this right... This blog might be closed down for good in 2 months time... NOT SAYING THAT THIS BLOG WILL BE CLOSED FOR 2 MONTHS... The reason is because I started this blog is to have a channel to illustrate my life in Bristol... Hence, when I am back in Malaysia, this blog will serve no purpose anymore... Fret not... I might have a revamp and come up with a new theme for it... This is the plan for now...

Back to the main point of this post... My housemate, Suhan is really getting on my nerves... Remember the one I mentioned before who will turn the kitchen into post war site after cooking??? Well, I am not pissed over the kitchen incident as I am numb over that... This time it's a different case... Well, as all of you know, for the past one month, I was busy preparing for exam... So I have decided to do housework right after exam... It's acceptable... He, who was done with his exam long time ago has not been cleaning up the house for quite some time... I am fine with it... Until yesterday, I informed Echo that I will clean the bathroom today as I was already tired after cleaning the kitchen... Echo asked me not to do it as she feels that it is unfair for me to clean it although I am very free... She told me that either she or Suhan will clean it... Echo wrote him a note asking him whether he will clean the bathroom or not... And guess what??? He asked Echo to check the rota for last year to see who has never cleaned the bathroom before... And this morning, when I went downstairs, he actually counted the time we did the housework from the rota...

I am angry because he is being calculative... Will it die for doing extra housework??? As housemates, should we really bother how many times we do housework??? Isn't staying comfortably in a clean house is the ultimate purpose of doing housework??? Why must he be so calculative???!!! He annoyed me to the extent that I don't feel like talking to him... Has it ever crossed his mind that who is the one who cleaned up the mess in the kitchen after he cooked??? WTF... Inconsiderate, selfish and arrogant housemate sucks!!!! So what you are smart, good-looking, confident, etc??? This is only what you yourself thought about yourself... For me, you are just an a**hole!!! You are only good at finding excuses to cover up your weaknesses... This will never ever work on me... Because you appear to be very fake...

I can't stand seeing him for another day!!! Arghhhh... Pissed!!!!

It's time for me to come up with a decent post here... Anyway, Blur Life will be closed permanently in 2 months time... Hahaha...

Done with exam... Last paper was in Tuesday... Dinner as a form of celebration on Tuesday night but it ended up with disappointment... Arghh... Having no idea what to do... My mind is full of housework these two days... House and room are in a mess... Everyone's busy with finals... What to do... Everyone refers to my housemate, Echo and I only... The other 2 housemates are never bothered with doing housework but responsible for making a mess of the kitchen and bathroom... Arghhh....

Supposed to be visiting a few places but somehow I am just not in the mood of travelling... In fact, I am more eager to go back Malaysia now... Terrible case... Seriously, I feel quite sad over the facts that my family will be going to Bali next week without me... I am so looking forward to travelling with them...

I did mention that there were this firemen's case in Filton... My friends' housemate actually locked herself in the room as the lock in her room is spoilt... The housemate initially tried to call a locksmith but the fees is more than 1o0 pounds... So one of my friends who stayed in the house tried to break open the door using butter knife... Hahahaha... With the thought of earning that 100++ pounds... Wakaka... *insert smiley rolling on the floor face* Another friend called the police instead of fire brigade... HAHAHA... The police officer told her that we are not in charge of this case... Then only she made a call to the fire brigade... Within a few minutes, the firemen arrived... Two of my vain friends who thought that those firemen will be soooooooooo HOT went back to their room to change clothes while waiting for the firemen... Indeed, I was told that there were a few HOT firemen... Hahahaha... When I got to know about this firemen case, I was really laughing out loud like mad... So damn funny...

Done with it... Now back to my updates... Well, I have cleared out my notes... Hopefully I won't need them for referral... I need to start packing my stuff now... Contacted shippingtomalaysia... They will send me the box soon... Contacted MAS to confirm my air ticket... Told landlady I will be extending my stay at this house... Basically what supposed to be done is done... Hmmm... It's time to let myself grow some fungus... Hahaha...

I have decided that I have to be fair to my Blur Life... I can't abandon it till my exam is over... That will be like 2weeks plus from now... Owhhh... Poor thing... Let me update on errmmm... What about me, myself and I??? Hahahaha... Interesting enough??? Or boring??? Well, I will just blog whatever comes to my mind... It will be a long post... Please bear with me... :)

As you guys know from the previous post, I am going to have my exam this Wednesday... Exam aside first... It's no fun at all... Bristol is experiencing serious PMS lately... Weather changes faster than my mood... Bad weather... Scorching sun + strong wind = ???? What do you get??? Do you feel hot or cold??? I have no idea either... But I have been in short pants all the time at home in the daytime... Spring isn't that cool either... Ooops... Looks like I have been complaining since autumn... Autumn I am experiencing cracks on my body... Winter I am freezing all the time... It's spring now and yet I still have stuff to complain... I am not experiencing cracks this time but rashes... Booohoooo... My skin is not suitable to stay in Bristol... Please be good in this 2months plus... I am bringing you back to where you belong soon... Woots...

I am currently in hyper and lame mood... Thanks to exam... Been sleeping super late every day and waking up super late as well... What to do... I am an owl... Woohooo... And yes... I have been receiving complaints about me being lame... Gosh... Something is really not right with me somewhere... How could the word "L-A-M-E" be linked together with me??? Oh no... But I admit I am a bit lame sometime... For example, there was this conversation between Darling HJ and I in MSN one day...

Oh ya... You guys must have already seen from Facebook that there was this incredibly gigantic, huge and awesome rainbow in Bristol the other day... Hahahaha... I was talking to Calvin in MSN at that time when I looked up and saw the rainbow right in front of my eyes... Immediately, I asked Calvin to give me 10 minutes... I ran downstairs with my camera and took picture standing right in front of my house... Hahaha... I know I behave like a "mountain tortoise"... But I have never seen such a big rainbow in my life before... And the 7 colours are so clear... I am so blessed... Hehe...

Recently I have been doing some online shopping... I have bought quite some stuff from Amazon.com... Omg... It's such a cool website where they sell very cheap books and you do not have to drag your ass out of the house... Those are some of the stuff that I bought... They are all books actually... I know what to do during summer... Hooray!!! I got myself an Ipod Shuffle from Apple.com as well... It's one of the stuffs that I get myself to make myself happier... I remembered mentioning this here before... I enjoy the feeling of receiving parcels... One more woohoo... Woots~~~ The next thing I am going to get myself is a pair of Converse... Have already decided which to buy... I am going to get it the first thing right after exam...

Hello folks... For your information, this is the 100th post here... Hahaha... Six months plus and I have the record of 100 posts... Well, I have the thought of venting out my frustration in this post... Seems like it will be a waste, right??? But I don't care...

Arghh... I got so fed up with my revision and out of sudden, I just feel so tired and could not concentrate any further... This is driving me nuts... I need some motivation... I need some encouragement... I need someone to talk to...

I guess I have been sleeping too much and as a result, I feel sleepy again now... Or is it because I have given myself too much pressure??? Although it is said to be doing revision, I have been slacking so much all the time... Is it this??? Is it that??? I have been trying to figure out the reasons... I am not full of confidence at all this time... I am worried about this... I am worried about that...

I have been trying to cheer myself up as well... Bought myself 5 books from Amazon and an Ipod Shuffle with words of encouragement attached to it... I want to motivate myself... I want to make myself happy... I am trying to carve a smile on my face and at the same time telling myself that "I CAN GO THROUGH THIS!!!" Yes...

This is the third week of Easter break which means next week I will be going back to uni... Ooh... It won't be that bad I guess because it is the last week of class and it will be revision week... Blah... Final exam is getting nearer and nearer... For the past one week plus, I have been doing the same thing everyday... I am going bonkers soon... Life is so boring... I burnt almost everything in the kitchen except the kitchen itself... I burnt my food... I burnt the kitchen cloth... I burnt my hand... Damn it... I got totally distracted out of sudden... My mind is fully occupied with so many things that I can't find the concentration to prepare a decent meal...

Hello... I am back from Manchester... The trip was really fun.. Met Adrian of course... That was my main purpose there... Made many new friends... Adrian's flatmates, Ivan who can cook very well and Kee Hong aka Gingerman... There's Ming aka Mr Singaporean who is also Adrian's buddy I suppose... Not forgetting Jacky and Monkey... They are all so cool...

The first day we reached there, we were greeted by the dim sum at Chinatown... According to Adrian, it can make someone fly after eating it... Well, I didn't because I was too heavy... Hahaha... It was yummy... We do get dim sum in Bristol but not as nice as the one in Manchester... After the meal, we went to the city centre to have a walk... Or maybe I should say to do some shopping... Haha... After that, we went to a small shop to have Korean food... Ermm... I am not so into Korean food... But the dinner was ok... After the dinner, we went back to Adrian's place and played Monopoly till 2plus and some of the girls went back to the hostel to sleep...

The second day, as planned, we went to the Old Trafford... Wow... It was really huge and grand... Spent half of the day there... Visiting the museum, tour around the stadium and bought some souvenirs... After the stadium tour, we went to Trafford Centre, the biggest shopping centre in Manchester... Another wow... It was really really big... And oh my god... It has the KL shopping complex feeling... I miss the feeling... Had our late lunch there and bought some stuff for sure... I am not going to waste the chance to shop... Haha... We had our dinner at La Tasca, a Spanish restaurant... Nice food and nice ambience... I like the food... Haha... After the dinner, we were supposed to go for a drink but too bad the bars there closed quite early... Change of plan then... We went to Adrian's place for a drink then... Played some game while drinking... And ended up most of us, including me did not sleep the whole night...

The third and the last day, Adrian was busy with his voluntary work and Ming was in charge of bringing us around... Ming brought us for dim sum again... Yummy dim sum again... After that we went for bubble tea... The bubble tea has the Malaysia taste... Two thumbs up for the bubble tea... Haha... After that we went to the city centre for a walk again because we have no idea what to do and where to go... Had dinner at 5pm as we need to catch the train at 7pm... Adrian joined us for the dinner at Red Chilli which serves Szechuan food... The food was really spicy but it's really really nice... After the dinner, we went back to Adrian's place to take our luggage and it's time to say bye bye to Manchester, Ming and Adrian...

Overall, I enjoyed the trip... I will visit Manchester again for sure... :D:D:D

End of spring term... The start of 3 weeks Easter Break... I am going to Manchester this coming Tuesday... Woohoo... The supposed-to-be-excited feeling is dampened by the virus who got hold on me at the wrong time... Very very wrong time... Anyway, I am looking forward to meet Adrian in Manchester... Miss him so much... Haha...

I am now down with influenza... Runny nose, sore throat and backache... The weather for the past two weeks had been so bad and unpredictable... We do get windy + sunny + rainy in one particular day... How not to fall sick if your immune system is not strong enough??? My backache is so bad that I don't even feel comfortable lying on the bed... It is so terrible that I can't even stretch much... This is so so so torturing... My nose is blocked to the extent that I can't sleep well at night... Not forgetting the sore throat that made me super annoyed now... Drank so much water, tried all sorts of stuff, it's still there...

Spare me from this... I am in serious need to start on my revision... Must get myself recover before the Manchester trip in order for me to fully enjoy myself and get myself fully geared for revision... I can't afford to fall sick for so many days...

Last night when I made a call to mummy back at home, it was then I realised how outdated I am... My aunt (mummy's cousin) gave birth to a baby girl during Chinese New Year... Hahaha... I just knew it yesterday... The conversation was like this...

Mummy : Xiao Ling Jie Jie, Xiao Fen Jie Jie and Xiao Jin will be going to Taiwan in May...

Me : Is Xiao Ling Jie Jie allowed to board the plane?

Mummy : Why not???

Me : She is pregnant...

Mummy : She gave birth to a baby girl during Chinese New Year...

Me : ..............

Gosh... I am just like "katak bawah tempurung"... The same case happened when I called granny last night...

Granny : That day Ah Hao brought his wife for a check up because of high blood pressure...

Me : Why the sudden high blood pressure???

Granny : Because she is pregnant...

Granny : Your grandaunt's son lah (mummy's cousin as well)...

Me : WHAT???!!!! =.= (It's out of my expectation anyway, hehe... I didn't mean anything else)

Oh my god... I knew nothing about this as well... I am only away for 6 months till now and sooooooooo many things happened back in Malaysia... I am now so excited to go back Malaysia because I will be expecting three newborn babies... Yup... There will be 3 BABIES... Hooray... My cousin who will be getting married during summer had his wedding photo done as well... Hahaha... Congrats congrats... Both father and mother side family is expanding and expanding... I am really really happy... :D:D:D

This weekend, my family will be going for this Qingming at Bukit Bakri... My sis, Shi Han emailed me and told me about this... She told me that she will help me explain to my grandpa and grandma on why I can't be able to make it this year... Owhhh... So sweet of her... And and and my family will be going to Bali in June without me... How sad... I have never been to Bali before... :( Never mind then... I am sure papa will bring me there again... Hehe...

I finally understand the concept that emo person are not supposed to stay at home for too many days without going out... This will lead to being even more emo... Hence, these few days I have not been staying at home much...

18 March - It's a bad bad bad bad bad bad day to the extent of indescribable...

19 March - I went for a jog with Siok Kuan, Huay Jiun and Wan Lin which turned into a walking session... But it's good enough... We walked for more than 2 hours... Great feeling... Since it's spring now, can go out more often... After walking and having dinner, we played Wii for about 3hours at my house... Gosh... The game is super addictive... It's full of dancing, shouting and cursing... Hahaha... We had great fun... =D Anyway, I am not addicted to it because I suck at playing games... =(

20 March - Went to the city centre for no purpose... Just to have dim sum at Dynasty in the afternoon... Hahaha... Had a walk at Cabot Circus and as promised last night to Huay Jiun, I did not buy anything at all today... Woohoo... A new record broken... This is because I have over-spent this month... I need to cut down on my expenses on clothing and shopping... But it's a good experience as well... Should learn to save for rainy days... Not forgetting to wish Mr Lau Weng Kien a Happy 22nd Birthday here... Hehe...

Spring is here... Should not be so gloomy and emo anymore... Must smile cheerfully like those flowers and shine brightly like the sun... By the way, the sun is a bit annoying these few days... Super glaring hot that reminds me so much of Malaysia... Sigh...

HOORAY!!! HOORAY!!! The long awaited season is here... Finally got rid of the freaking cold winter... The sun winks and smiles at you early in the morning... The colourful flowers taking turns to greet at you every morning... Even strangers become friends... I met the old man that I will meet at least once a week on the way to UWE and he started by waving at me and then he talked to me this morning... He reminded me so much of my great grandma... I presume he is more than 80 years old...

The jeans had to be hung behind the door for longer times... The thick jacket will soon be making their own ways into the luggage or maybe being ignored in the wardrobe... Say hello to short pants and t-shirt... Hoodies, here I come... Hahaha... Everything seems so good although the sun sometimes irritates me as though it is going to burn my face anytime... The cold wind annoys me too when it is not supposed to blow... Afterall, this season beats winter... Two thumbs up... The best thing of all, I AM OUT OF LOVE... Hahaha... A nice way to welcome spring... A relationship that expires after two seasons... Braving through the cold weather with me but unable to withstand the heat...

On the other hand, I have not been having quality sleep lately... Been having dreams the moment I sleep till the moment I woke up... I can even have many many dreams during my two-hour nap... This is so unlike me because I am those who don't dream much during sleep... Hmmm... Something must be not right somewhere that I dream so much... In short, I can hardly have a good night sleep... Pissed...

Dublin Trip 19-22 February 2009...

Finally, finally, finally... If I am not going to write this today, I don't think I will have the mood to do that anymore... But I wouldn't want to be smacked by anyone here, I am forcing my fingers to do the typing and at the same time my brain to do the reflection...

Leprechaun... The ji xiang wu of Dublin... =D I mean the hat, not me...

Okok... The Dublin trip was organised by my friend, Wan Lin who plans to go there and visit her friend, Hong... So she asked us whether to join the trip or not... Without hesitating, I agreed to go because it's Westlife's hometown... Hahaha... We left Bristol on Thurday afternoon because we need to take a cab to the airport which is one hour from the place we are staying, Filton... Our flight is at around 7pm... The journey to Dublin is about 1 hour only...

Spot my double chin... Wakaka... We are in the flight to Dublin, by the way...

The customs at Bristol Airport is so troublesome... Have to take out so many things... Fine with it... The first fright we got when we reached Dublin was the landing of the plane... Scary enough to make your heart jumped out... After that, I was being interrogated by the custom officer for quite some time... Maybe I have some face problem... Sigh... Annoying enough... Took our luggage and then took a bus to somewhere which I have no idea... But the place is within walking distance to Hong's place... So, we waited for him there... Put the luggage at his place and we went for dinner... The highlight of Thursday night is the dinner part... Hahaha... Had char kway tiao which cost me 10 euros... Hahaha... Super duper expensive and satisfying... Although it is not the original type that is available in Malaysia, it is sufficient to satisfy my taste bud... Too tired... After dinner then we went home.. Rested and chatted at home...

The next morning, we had Irish breakfast... It's the same as English breakfast I think... Sausages, egg, bread, etc... Nothing special about that... After the breakfast, we went to The Body's exhibition... Hahaha... The name speaks of itself... It's about human bodies... Dead bodies were preserved and being cut here and there to enable us to see the organs, muscles, bones, etc... Sounds scary but it's not as scary as I perceived it to be... At least I learnt quite a lot from it... After the exhibition, we went to Jameson Distillery... Jameson is a type of whisky... We chose to visit this instead of Guinness... Don't know why... It's a nice place... And I was chosen to be one of the tester... In the end, I received a certificate stating that I am a qualified whisky tester... So funny... After visiting that distillery, we went for a walk at some streets there... Had dinner at one of the pubs... Nice dinner... Hehe... After dinner, it's about walking again... But we reached another pub to have some drinks because Hong is going to introduce some beer...

Saturday morning, we had breakfast at some Chinese shop serving dim sum... The best thing about the breakfast is the you tiao... Nothing else... Today is shopping day... But the whole morning was wasted on the road and waiting for bus... The bus services in Dublin is so inefficient... Ended up have to take luas... Something like I have no idea how to explain it... Tram??? LRT??? MRT??? Train??? Whatever it is, it is called LUAS... We went to this largest shopping mall in Dublin... Big enough but didn't really buy because it's not worth spending euros on something you can get in pounds... Hahaha... But I ended up with a jacket also... Another highlight of the trip is Jo's Burger... It's a yummy yummy and big burger... Omg... The tastiest burger I had ever had... The thought of it can make me drool... After a big burger, we headed to Hard Rock Cafe for some desserts... Hahahaha... How not to gain weight in Dublin??? It's a food paradise... After that, walk here and there again... We headed to another drinking place after Hard Rock Cafe to have a try on their local beer... Sweat... Being asked for identity at the entrance... We looked too young... Wakaka....

Came back to Bristol on Sunday morning... Had another fright when we reached Bristol airport due to the landing again... Super no skill... Sigh... By the way, we nearly missed the flight back to Bristol... That's the worst fright I guess... Imagine the plane has shifted and it's no longer parked at the departure gate... Hahaha... So funny...

Overall, the trip is fun and nice... Dublin is mostly about walking... It should be sufficient to burn the calorie we had there... Hmmm... Next trip should be Manchester and Birmingham... In planning stage now... Holidays coming really really soon... Take care people... Miss ya... Muacksss...

Sigh.... I guess I have not mentioned this in my blog today that today (09/03/2009) is the submission date for my assignment in this term or should I say university life... Although I have one more on the 30th, that is an optional re-submission... It's not the official one... Anyway, assignment deadlines are not the main point of this blog...

I was happily printing my assignment last night and checked the content for god knows how many times to make sure I don't miss out anything... Well, the printing, checking and hand-in processes turned out well... I have no complaints on that...

BUT... This morning when I attended my first tutorial session, took out my files and TO MY SURPRISE/HORROR, I can't find my precious Doraemon pencil case... I thought it was hidden somewhere in my big bag... But it was me who left it case on my table in my room... Blame it on my itchy hand to take it out to fill in the assignment cover sheet this morning before coming out and forgot to put it back... Gosh... I seriously cannot imagine whole day of class without my stationery... So sad... Managed to borrow a pen from my friend... Half day gone and I am attending class with only a pen instead of my usual dozens of stuff on the table... No ruler, eraser, highlighter. pencil, etc, etc... And my pen drive is in my pencil case... I even made sure that it's right in my pencil case before I slept last night as I am worried I need to print some additional stuff for my assignment in the uni... Who knows, I am at uni today bringing my notes and myself and my assignment... I am moody because of this... :(:(:(

I just need to grumble a bit on my so-called bad day... Hehe... I never realise my pencil case can have such a big influence on me... Sigh... Take care people and miss ya... Muackssss...

Yo yo yo... Hahaha... I am done with my IF assignments... Wait... Still have 700 words reflective to write but that's not so important... Blog first... Write after this... Kakakaka... 9th of March still have one more assignment submission... That will be my final year project aka research paper aka dissertation... About 3000 more words to go... Jia you jia you!!!!

I have been asking my housemate to go city centre with me on the 10th... I am praying that she is not working on that day... She will be leaving to Paris for 10 days... Sigh... Days without her will be so so so boring... Imagine me facing that dirty housemate everyday... I have no idea what will become of the kitchen and bathroom... But never mind... He has got on my nerves now... This morning I just told him off for banging the door all the time... I did mention that in the previous posts... Imagine one morning almost 1o times when I was still sleeping... After I woke up, it's still the same... I got so pissed off that I went downstairs and told him off... He said sorry but then I don't see any difference till now... Sigh...

Then just now, he was cooking two types of curry at one go... My housemate texted me and told me that we have no place to cook dinner tonight... So, I went down and have a look... Indeed the ktichen has turned into a post war site... Faint... It's soooooooooo messy that I have no eyes to look at it anymore... Initially I have the plan to cook chicken curry and my housemate will be cooking tomyam... Both of us ended up having KFC for dinner just because of that housemate...

On the other hand, I kind of pity my housemate... Both my housemate and I have been sort of ignoring him today because he pissed us off so much... Normal time, I can stand him but not when I am having assignments and PMS... My housemate is even worse... She totally cold war with him... Wakaka... But then again, the dirty housemate actually cleaned the whole house today as promised because he will be out of our sight for 2months... He will be having his final exams for 2months and he'll be anti-social for 2months... Yay... I am actually quite happy... I hope he can stop cooking for 2months too... =P

I need to drop a few lines here before people will be thinking that I am MIA-ing again... Been really busy with my assignments... Thus, it's equivalent to emo-ing period again... Sigh... =( Moreover, some inconsiderate people doesn't even want to give face... Still want to piss me off... People emo he also want to emo worse than me... Sorry... Assignment period no negotiation and tolerating... You want to have a try on my limit, I can play with you till the end without bothering on the amount of tears I will lose... I am sure you are not feeling good either unless your heart is made of steel... But who bothers...

On the other hand, I feel sorry for the book that I borrowed back from the library for my assignment... It was a brand new book when I got hold of it... But now, it has turned so crumpy... I am really sorry... My tears have not been behaving lately... Flooding my table all the time and as a result, the book which is just placed in front of me is not spared as well... A few pages are actually stained with my tears... Gosh... I really really feel so bad for destroying this public goods...

Sigh... Bored bored bored... That's a word to describe my feeling now... I am leading a boring life... Assignments and classes and still assignments and classes... Gosh... I miss city centre... It seems that I didn't go for quite some time... 2 weeks or maybe 3 weeks??? I have a list of shopping to do... Checked online and caught an eye on a few stuff...

Although I am going to Dublin, Ireland this coming Thursday, I am now worried about my assignments which will be due on the 2nd and 9th March... God, please save me... Darlings and dear, please pray for me... I'll keep my fingers crossed that "zhou gong" will spare and not haunt me for the next coming weeks until I handed in my assignments... After that, I promise I'll pay back all my sleep debt...

Yerrrrrr... I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE ASSIGNMENTS!!!! Especially long long long winded assignments that I am having difficulty looking for materials... Damn it... Damn it... Damn it... I MUST MUST really post this before I forgot... As everyone knows, Valentine's Day is on Saturday and I did mention in my Blur Nag that I had sent out my cards a week ago and of course the recipients have received their card... One of the recipients is of course my pa, mummy, jie, han, mek and wei (they are categorised as one recipient)... Hahaha... It's a huge gigantic Valentine's card sent back... That's not the main point anyway...

Today when I signed in MSN and saw one of my sis, Han, was in MSN with the personal message, "why u always make me cry?"... I somehow got a shock as I would have assumed being the most soft-hearted, gentle and angelic girl like her should not be made cry even though cases of her being bullied is really normal... I am not exaggerating... She's really soft spoken, gentle and angelic... I sometimes do get jealous over her... So I asked who made her cry... To my surprise, she said me... I was even caught more in surprise because I seem not to do anything at all as I was not around back at home... Then she added on that everytime a card from me reaches home with her being one of the recipients, she will cry... Just that I was not made known...

Thinking back, I cried when writing those wishes on the card too... Although I do feel bad making her cry, it seems that the card managed to convey my wishes and feelings to everyone back at home... It seems that the card managed to serve its purpose... Everytime when I send back something, they will be telling me how happy they are... Han, it's absolutely right to say that you are the most missable... Thanks a lot...

That is the mutual feeling I want... I don't mean that everyone should cry when receiving my cards or whatsoever, but at the very least, let me know that what I did have been appreciated... Never ever doubt any single word I penned down on the card... It's really my thoughts, wishes and feelings from the bottom of my heart... I did put in effort, seriously...

The person closest to your heart is none other than your FAMILY... I am truly blessed to have each and everyone of them throughout my life... Indeed you all brighten up and colourised my life in so many ways that I can't put into word... FAMILY = Father and Mother I Love You and mine includes 4 lovely sisters, Ying, Han, Yi and Wei... I haven't tell you guys about the super scary nightmare that I had on Saturday morning... 3 persons died in the dream and all the 3 persons are those who are closely related to me... I can remember the scene, location and even how it happened... Head being chopped off, limbs went missing, blood everywhere... One minute I saw this person right in front smiling at me and the next minute when I just walked away, his head dropped onto the floor... After the brutal scene, there was this funeral and many people crying there... Gosh... What a dream... And I was there not knowing I should shout out of fear or cry out of sadness... :(:(:(

I presume this is the effect of reading too much of brutal murder case news recently... It has been happening so often in the UK and US... And even in Malaysia... Cruel people are dominating the world... It is also the effect of missing somone too much... When mind doesn't work properly, everything including dream goes haywire and all mixed up... :S

Yesterday, 050209, UWE was declared CLOSED due to HEAVY SNOW!!! HOORAY!!! This means I don't have to attend class... Hahaha... Of course, my housemates, Echo, Suhan and I were so excited to go play and take pictures in the snow... Usually the journey that takes us 15minutes took us 2hours yesterday... We were too mad... And of course, we had great fun destroying all those snow... :P:P:P Enjoy the pictures...

P/S : For everyone's information, Shi Hui, the Blur Queen had THREE great fall yesterday which made her bones all out of place today... Sweat... =.=

It's still snowing while I am typing this post... UWE is closed AGAIN for another day due to HEAVIER SNOW!!! Wakaka... More snow, more snow and more snow... HOORAY!!! Now I finally understand why mummy insisted to buy me a RED jacket... Because I am so easily spotted in those pictures taken... Wakaka... According to my housemate, I am OLD RED RIDING HOOD... Well well well... As all of you get to know it through my MSN personal message or newspaper or whatsoever sources, UK is currently facing heavy snow... And of course, Bristol is no exception this year... I have to admit that I am really lucky to be able to witness the snowing scene in my one and only year in Bristol... It never snowed that much in Bristol before...

I admit that I got really really excited when I know that it will snow on Monday... On Monday morning, the first thing I did was to look out the window from my room... I had the thought why is the air so polluted today... It's full of dust... But then when I think again, it's not dust... It's SNOW FLAKES... Hehe... Immediately I ran down and stood in front of the door... Hehe... It's cold I know... But I couldn't care much... Haha... This is the first time I can't wait to walk to UWE... The snow gets heavier when I was at UWE... And apparently I had 3hours of break that allowed me to go play in the snow and not forgetting to take memorable pictures....

Let the pictures and videos do the talking for me... If I were to elaborate, it will take me days and nights... I have so much so much to share... :P:P:P

I simply couldn't understand how can one turn the kitchen into a post war site in less than one day time... It's only cooking... Not bombing... The gravy or sauce or whatsoever that you are cooking does not need to be scattered all over the stove... The plates, bowls, chopping board, knife, cutleries do not need to be placed all over the table... Come on... You are cooking for yourself, not 100 people... The instant noodle packet does not need to be left on the table after cooking it... The dustbin is just behind the place where you are standing while cooking... Damn pissed off... The cleanliness and tidiness will only last for a few hours the most if you were to be at home...

Another thing that I don't understand... Is the toilet cover so so so heavy that you can't lift it up??? I guess you all will know what I am trying to say... I don't wish to elaborate because it's so damn disgusting... Mind you... It was all done by the same person... This is even damn pissed off than the kitchen incident... Fine if you never clean the bathroom... I can clean it... I know you never use it as often as me... But then you still do use it right??? Please keep it clean unless you don't have to do your business then I have nothing to say... Please la... I know you have 3 maids back at your home... Why didn't you bring one of them here in the first place???

You made me bloody pissed off to the extent I don't feel like talking to you... Don't feel like helping you to clear up your mess...

This is how sickening it is to have an inconsiderate housemate... Not forgetting that he will bang the door as and when he likes because he seems to have no hand to hold the door to wait till it's closed... He has really exceeded the limit that I can tolerate... Or maybe he has finally show me his true colours... He wasn't like that when I first moved in... One can never imagine that he is a POSTGRADUATE LAW STUDENT!!! *faint*

It has been a bad habit of mine to vent my frustration by going shopping alone and have a shopping spree... Today is the second time in Bristol that I went shopping to release my emo... It was a fruitful trip but I wasn't totally out of my emo yet... Guess it's PMS... Period is late again... Sigh... Today I really bought a lot a lot... Less than 4 hours time, I told myself that I should stop buying because there is no way I can carry any more bags... Sorry people... It's a belated CNY post.. I did not have a decent post for such a long time... Been really busy meeting deadlines... Busy crying, depressing, emo-ing and homesick-ing... Super busy recently... I don't feel happy at all for the past few weeks... Got a feeling that my brain is going to burst anytime sooner with so many things to think about... Anyway, thanks for all the concern and care throughout this period... Otherwise, I don't think I will be able to get over it so soon... You guys know who you are... You guys are simply amazing... My CNY starts officially tomorrow according to Shi Hui's Calendar... Hehehe... It will consists of visiting city centre instead of visiting friends and relatives... I am going to shopping either tomorrow or Friday... Lalala~~~ I can't really remember when was the last time I went shopping... Maybe three weeks ago... Not so long it seems... But I seriously need a break...

CNY in Bristol consists of a mixture of feelings... I got really homesick and depressed for the past few days... But at the same time I am glad to have a bunch of darlings here who accompanied me for reunion dinner... Having housemate to have reunion lunch... Got someone to share my cookies... It made me realised how great CNY is with family around... How wonderful it is to celebrate CNY in Malaysia... I promised myself there won't be second time celebrating CNY without family members around... Yesterday received ang pows from pa and mummy through post... Never ever in my life I got so excited over two ang pows... Even ang pows have been taken for granted by me... Sad case... But next year onwards, I will appreciate everything about CNY including every family members...

Looking forward to the year of Tiger now... I will be in Malaysia then... Hahaha... Btw, next year CNY will be on the same day as Valentine's Day... It will be double happiness... Or even triple happiness because I will be able to celebrate CNY with all my loved ones again....

TODAY IS THE DAY!!! YAY...

The first thing that I know before I had my breakfast is that I got a card today... Figuring out whose handwriting was that because it looks so unfamiliar... I was so eager to go back to my room right after pouring my milk into my glass... Immediately opened it and it's my Calvin boy... A Chinese New Year card... So sweet of him... Thanks a lot...

Back to my room and my friend msned me informing that the results for the test that I sat for last week is released... And again I logged into the UWE portal to check on my marks... Kinda satisfied with the marks... So I was thinking that less than 1 hour that I am awake, there are 2 good things that happened to me...

Hmmm... Of course I am excited and wanted to share the news with someone... Called 小气鬼with the intention of sharing the good news with him... Somehow he pissed me off and I didn't mention any single word... Although I am quite disappointed, but I got over it quite fast and off I went for lunch...

Had roti prata, egg and potato curry and chicken curry for lunch... The roti prata was superb... Maybe because I had to make do with whatever I had... Even roti prata kosong can satisfy me... Hehe... While preparing lunch, there's someone at the door... IT'S MY PARCEL!!!

My 50th kg parcel cum pre-CNY parcel reached me... Hahaha... Right after lunch, I unpacked my parcel... To my surprise, I have so much food... From dried food like yee mee, beancurd sheet to shrimp sambal, dried onion to CNY cookies, keropok and even my supplements... Not to forget my CNY card and birthday cum Xmas cards from my lovely family... I am so blessed... I know...

Today is really my day... Been excited the whole day over the episode... Hahaha... Now I am going back to my assignment... I pledge to finish it by tonight... Jia you, Shi Hui...

I am wondering what is winter exactly... I always thought winter will be so so so cold throughout the whole season... But how come it's so different in Bristol... It was like -6 degree celcius last week and yesterday was like 10 degree celcius... Hahaha... And today is a sunny day... It's so sunny that you feel hot at home... It's so hot that you can really sweat... Good also... It has been so long since I last sweated...

I am confused over the season now... But somehow the weather between 6 to 10 degree is really very comfortable... Short pants and a hoodie is just nice... Perfect combination... Hahaha...

But winter is great... Got sales sales sales which means shopping with no guilt... Wakaka... Till then...

Guess what... Guess what... Christmas is over... New Year is over... No white Christmas... No white New Year... BUT.......... It snowed for 15minutes in Bristol yesterday... Although I did not witness the scene, I am really excited when my friend told me about it...

Yesterday morning, when I woke up, it really caught me by surprise when I saw a whole piece of white view outside my window... The cars and the roads are full of ice... It's not the normal kind of ice that I used to see... It's quite thick and as what my friend said, it's actually SNOW... Woohoo... Too bad, I have not witnessed the snowing scene yet... It's alright... I am waiting, waiting and still waiting...

News all over the place has been saying that the temperatures in the UK has plummeted to its lowest in the past 13 years... Scary isn't it??? Yeah... Almost everyday the temperature is below 0 degree... It's really really cold... I would say winter makes me excited but at the same time I dread going out now... :S Every season seems to have its pros and cons...

Last few days have been counting down for the arrival of Boxing Day... Well, of course I would not miss out such a good deal to go shopping... Reached Cabot Circus at around 10am... Most of the shops opened at 11am... But there are a few shops which were opened at I have no idea what time... Maybe as early as 6am??? Hahaha... It is possible... There are people who camp outside LV and Gucci shop in London... Bristol's Boxing Day ain't that happening of course...

But there are really people queuing up outside River Island and Zara at Cabot Circus... Quite a spectacular for me... Hehe... Cut the crap... I'll go straight into the end results... Two shirts, two pants, one jacket and a belt... Hahaha... It will be perfect if I managed to buy a bag... Saw a Fred Perry bag... Was thinking should I get it because there was no sales... Can always buy it another day because I am still thinking of the Roxy bag...

Christmas Eve... :(

It has been two years consecutively that Christmas Eve is celebrated in a so-so feeling... Although there were dinner and stuff like that, but the feeling each year is really bad... Not because of no Santa... Last year I had almost the whole big family celebrating Christmas Eve with me... But it was because that was the 7th day of my great grandma's death... This year I had turkey and salmon on Christmas Eve... Well, it was a wonderful and sumptuous dinner... But my mood was not feeling good... Emo again on Christmas Eve... Sweat jor... This time it's not normal emo... My table nearly flooded... I am almost hopeless and incurable... Anyway, I am exaggerating on the flood part... Hahaha...

My 40th kg parcel...

Oh ya... Forgot to mention that I actually received my 20kg parcel today... I received two 10kg parcels previously... This made up to my 40th kg parcel from Malaysia... What's in the parcel??? Hehehe... Curry paste, tomyam paste, chai poh, chilli sauce, yee mee, mihun, herbal soup, nescafe, nesvita, chrysanthemum tea, pads, paper, etc... It all adds up to 20kg... It took less than 2months to send through ship... Wasn't very long... And it costs much much cheaper than by air...

Hello boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen... Sorry sorry for MIB (missing in blog) for so long... Must be missing me a lot... Hehehe... Hmmm... I was not away from Bristol... Just that I have not been at home most of the time... Very very busy... With shopping and dinner outside... Hahaha... It's normal because it's holiday now... And all the shops in the city centre are having SALES!!!! I can hear the steps of Boxing Day now... Woohoo... Countdown to Boxing Day : 2 days...

I just came back from Bath yesterday... Bath in the sense of the name of a place... Not mandi... Nice building, nice food and nice trip... Happy happy... Had BBQ after coming back from Bath at Pay Chee's place... Had tang yuan there as well... Winter solstice was celebrated in that manner... Yay!!! Bath pictures are already uploaded in Facebook... :D

Three days after my birthday or should I say two days, we had another birthday party... Our youngest girl here... Pay Chee... Hahaha... Last night, we went to Obento to celebrate her birthday... There's wasn't any whipped cream or cakes... Surprising??? We must behave because we are not at our own house... It's at a japanese restaurant... Yummy sushi and karaoke... But most of the songs are weird especially English songs... Chinese and Hokkien songs ain't that bad... Got the feeling that we are no longer in UK because you won't get to listen to mandarin songs unless in your own room...

The birthday cake was a big water melon, the birthday girl's favourite food... Nice recylced birthday card plus the equation... I had a hard time hiding myself... Can't even walked in comfort at Cabot Circus because I am not supposed to be there... It's meant as a a surprise for the birthday girl... Managed to give her a small surprise... She is too smart to fall into our trick... Sweat... Anyway, it has been such an enjoyable week... Happy Birthday again... Wakaka...

Guess what... My winter break starts today!!! Woohoo... Happy holidays to me... Assignments assignments assignments... Must really make full use of this winter break... Mark my words... Wahaha... By the way, all the shops in the city are having big sales... I want my Lacoste shoes now!!! Sigh~~~

Well, everyone must be wondering how did I spend my 21st birthday in this cold land??? Hahaha... I can definitely describe it with a word... It's a BLAST!!!! Imagine the birthday girl crying on her birthday... You guys can imagine how lucky she is with her darlings here...

I have no idea when did the whole plan started... But my darling is smart enough... Accompanied me to Cribbs Causeway on Friday just to know what I really wanted... She came back to Filton together with me and went to Cribbs Causeway again with Pay Chee... I am really really touched... The ride to Cribss Causeway took about 45minutes per way... Imagine four rides in a day and that night it was raining quite heavily still... Love ya, darling... In fact, they have been dropping me thousand hints since last night they came to my place... Being the normal ignorant and blur me, of course I didn't manage to suspect anything...

They skipped the last hour of lecture just to plan for my birthday surprise... Was still wondering how come they leave me alone to attend the lecture today... You guys are forgiven... Will lend you my notes tomorrow... Hahaha... The whole thing started today after my lecture which ended at 6.30pm... As what I promised Sprina yesterday, I'll go her house find her, then she'll follow me back home to put my stuff then we'll meet at the restaurant for dinner... But when I reach home, I am unable to open the door of my house... My housemate, Echo being the accomplice opened the door and slammed the door on me... I noticed something is not right because I saw a few shadows while I was walking... Not knowing what is really going on, I entered the house after Echo opened the door for me... On the floor, there was lights with the words, SH 21... There are birthday cards, present and muffins with the word "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHI HUI :) :)" There are altogether 21 muffins at the staircase with candle lit on it... I am really really too surprised that I am speechless and that was when tears started to roll...

The next thing was plates of fresh cream being thrown over my face... Gosh... I seriously cannot imagine the whole situation with me holding the plates to chase at everyone... No one wanted my kiss or hug... Sigh... There was muffins, cheese cake and fresh cream as my birthday cakes... Not forgetting my FreeSpririt jacket and Roxy mitten... Love ya guys so much and all the wishes from my darlings and housemates... You guys are simply too lovely... Muacksss...

Oh ya... Initially they wanted to steal my house keys from my bag to sneak into my house... Luckily, I am smart enough to keep my keys in some place that they could not find it even though I left my bag with them for a few times in a day... Hahaha... Anyway, that was the only thing I am proud of myself... The rest of the event proves that I am still the Blur Queen... The octopus... Sigh... Hahaha...

Not forgetting all the smses, friendster comments, chatbox shoutouts, facebook walls, blog posts and msn wishes... You guys are really really wonderful... I really had a memorable and unforgetable birthday this year... I may be far from my usual gang and family... But somehow this is the most wonderful and craziest birthday I ever had... There goes the 32 hours of my 21st birthday... I spent 29 out of the 32 hours being excited... Hahaha... I slept only for 3hours last night and now it's 12.09am and I am blogging... Tomorrow I have to clean my house which is full of fresh cream now... And also my clothes, scarf, jeans and jacket which are all full of cream... As for myself, I cleaned it before going for dinner just now... Hahaha...

Blur Life...

Hahaha... All these while, I have been "showing off" about everything in Bristol especially my cooking skills... In fact, all those embarassing, unwanted and ugly moments have been kept a secret... Hehe... Well, it's time to reveal them... :P

Hmmm... There was twice when I nearly burnt the whole house down by putting my pizza either in the microwave or oven for too long... Can u imagine my whole pizza turned as black as charcoal??? And the whole house is full of smoke just like being burnt down... Hahahaha...

The second time is when I came up with a dark and light soy sauce, hoi sin sauce, sugar and black pepper chicken... Can anyone imagine the mixture of all those sauce together with chicken??? Ermmm... The end result is somehow like black pepper chicken... Luckily I managed to save that dishes...

There is this incident that I fell at campus because I was dreaming while walking... Too engrossed in my thought that I didn't realise that there's a small staircase there... Sweat... Of course it's painful and super embarassing... Sigh...

Those are the three most significant incident that I can thought of... On average, one embarassing moment in a month is more than enough... Hahaha...

Oh my goodness gracious... Oh my Buddha... Why on earth are both my hands so itchy as to key in the word "animal" and "roxy" in the google search bar... Now my heart is feeling super itchy... If only it can be scratched... But too bad it can't... I saw a bag or should I say TWO bags that I want so much now... Then I saw a purse again... I just bought one the other time... Cribbs Causeway... I am coming soon~~~~ My mind is not so into the Miss Selfridge jacket and Animal hoodie anymore now... Hehe... This is because it has been ages since I saw the jacket and hoodie... They might have new arrivals now...

Am I supposed to console myself by saying it's meant to reward me for not shopping for the past four weeks??? Can I buy myself a birthday present as well as a Xmas present??? For everyone's information, I used the same excuses when I emo the other time... These are ways to shop without guilt... Can the same excuses be used twice??? Is it convincing enough to overcome my own barriers of the heart??? By the way, I am not emo this time... Don't worry...

Or should I think of credit crunch??? Recession??? BUT I have not been shopping for so long... In addition, we need consumers like me to stimulate the economy... We need to spend to bring the economy out of the recession... Christmas is around the corner... New Year is approaching... Chinese New Year is in less than 2months time...

I seem to have more reasons to shop rather than not shop... Anyone disagree??? Or anyone have any reason on why I shouldn't shop??? Please help me kill the cravings in me... I can suffer from insomnia over that two bags...

Wow... Life is not going to be the same anymore... Imagine having chocolate mousse and a tub of belgian chocolate haagen-dazs ice-cream after dinner when it is raining outside with the temperature of merely 6 degree celcius... Ooh... Can anyone imagine that??? Putting the ice-cream into the mouth when your whole body feels like freezing... Oh my goodness... This is simply awesome, irresistible and indescribable... YUMMY!!! This is the best thing to do... Holding the tub of ice-cream is enough to freeze me, let alone letting it go through my throat... Hahahaha... I am mad... In fact, I am crazy for chocolate!!!! Chocolate bars, chocolate muffins, chocolate drink, chocolate ice-cream, chocolate mousse... Those are food from heaven... :D:D:D

The chocolate effect is acting up again... It makes me high... Wahaha... The weather has been pretty cool for the past few days... It's really cool... Trust me... Seeing the road turned into ice rink early in the morning... The cars are covered with ice made me somehow feel like I am living in a cartoon world... This is what you get to see in cartoon and you will be thinking that it's too exaggerating... But it is happening now right in front of my eyes... Hahahaha... I sound a bit "jakun" I know... Don't laugh...

Phew... It has been two to three days since I last update this blog... Well, I am done with my AMA assignment... No relaxing... I have to do AIC, IF and CRTP assignments... But at the mean time, let me have some fresh air first and update you guys with my condition...

I have been sleeping really early for the past few days... 2am, 3am n 4am are my sleeping hours... On average, my sleeping hours is about 4hours per night... As a result, I look like a walking zombie at uni... Hahaha... I guess you all can imagine how I look... But I am really glad that I managed to switch my sleeping time... Sleep in the day and stay awake at night... At least, I can concentrate better at night... I want to be a midnight ghost... Hahaha... This is my first achievement... *clap clap*

Moving on to the second achievement, I have been staying away from city centre (shopping) for 3 WEEKS!!!! *clap clap* What a great achievement... Even I have to salute myself now... But somehow my life seems to be incomplete without shopping... Something seems to be missing from my life... Sigh...

My life for the past few weeks have been quite dull... Not much happening... It revolves around my room and uni... Nothing to crap as well... =S

It has been almost 3months I am in Bristol which means I have been honeymoon-ing for the past 3months as well... Been indulging and pampering myself with all sorts of food, shopping and outing... As a result, nothing has been done in regards to my studies... I AM REGRETTING LIKE HELL NOW!!!

I have deadlines to meet in two weeks' time, one test in one month time and two more deadlines and a two presentations in two less than 2months' time... The thought of these seriously scare me out... I am mentally exhausted now... I look like a panda now... Hahaha... I have to force myself not to sleep so much every night... Forcing my eyes to be wide open... Sometime to the extent of staring blankly at the laptop screen... This is way way way torturing...

AMA, AIC, IF, AIC, FM and CRTP... Faint...

Hmmm... What's the point???

I am wondering what is the point of staying up late... A cup of mocha on Friday night kept me awake till 6am in the morning... Woke up at 10am the same morning... I am still brooding over that cup of mocha till now... Sigh... As a result, my brain did not function properly at all on Saturday... Was supposed to do my assignment... Got the inspiration of the whole framework while lying on the bed... After typing the whole framework out, I got stuck at the "overview" which is the first point... I took the whole day to think of what I should write and ended up I managed to type out 100 out of the 2500 words required for my assignment... Stupid brain... Seems to be damaged by that cup of mocha... Got really fed up and pissed off with myself... Some innocent people even got scolded by me for no apparent reason... Sorry... Lack of sleep leads to bad and uncontrolled temper... This is what mummy always said, "火气大"... I am going to stress the importance of SLEEP again... The equation is further expanded... SLEEP = BEAUTY + GOOD TEMPER ----> LOVABLE.... Hahaha... Michelle will be laughing at my nagging virtue again... I really mean well for you girls... Please understand my intention...

Since I can't get anything done due to my useless brain, I slept quite early last night... 12am is considered early, right??? Guess what, I managed to sleep in till 12pm this afternoon... Woohoo... Paid back my sleep debt and I am in super high spirit today... Restrict myself from signing in MSN which will made me type more words in MSN rather than my assignments... Sorry Michelle... I did it... I managed to find the form to do my assignment... For your information, this is the first assignment I am doing for this semester... Starting is always not easy... I believe I will be able to maintain the form of doing assignments really soon... In addition, I found the remedy which can keep me awake the whole night... Wahaha... God bless me... Amitabha...

It's almost 2.30am and I am still wide awake... Should I feel happy??? This is initially my intention to be able to stay awake in the middle of the night... That is the reason I chose to take a nap at 5.30pm... I had a cup of super satisfying mocha a few hours ago... My favourite of all the coffees I had before... Now I have the remedy to keep me awake... But then again, I feel really bad for sleeping "early" in the morning...

For everyone's information, the mark on my face has gone off... Hence, I do not want any more pimples... But then again, I won't be sleeping early for the next few weeks... Hahaha... Opportunity cost again... Sigh... Of course assignments are more important now... Pimples are secondary... As long as my hands are obedient and not itchy, everything will be fine...

I have something to share... Have anyone ever ponder how important friends are to you??? Where do they stand in your heart??? On the other hand, what about your bf/gf??? Where does he/she stand in your heart again??? If you were to tell me that you place your friends above your bf/gf, there's another question to be thought about... If one day, one of your friends come over to you and asked you to let him/her have your bf/gf, will you be able to do it as you said friends have a higher place in your heart??? Hahaha... Have a good thought over it... I have already given a thought about it and what I gave myself is a smile again... :D I find myself sillier and sillier... Even I am amused by myself now... Girls out there... Here is a piece of advice... Please sleep early if possible... As early as you can sleep even if it's 9pm...

As a consequence of sleeping quite late for the past two weeks, I had a big pimple on my face since Friday... Out of anger as it is just located on my middle right cheek, I decided to do something about it last night... When I woke up this morning, I almost shouted when I looked at the mirror... I AM DISFIGURED!!! There's actually a mark on my face... It's something like a wound getting dry... Remember the location of the pimples on my face??? It's so obvious... Gosh... And guess what??? I had a presentation today as well... God bless me... Imagine I was standing in front of the classroom with a black patch on my face... Just like a big mole... Sweat...

I wondered why on earth I did not want to sleep early for the last two weeks... If I get my assignment done, then the pimple is considered nothing... It's in fact quite worth it... But then, I did not get anything done... That made me even furious... Now I know why sleeping is so important to girls... SLEEP = BEAUTY... That's the equation... Hahaha...

Today is a gift which means it is the mystery that I am awaiting for since yesterday... Last night I slept really late... Went for kebab with darlings and hang out at their place till quite late... But then I still wake up earlier than I expected... The feeling of waking up is really wonderful this morning... Had my breakfast and started to do some laundry after that... 1st round of laundry, my Animal hoodie... 2nd round of laundry, all my dark-coloured clothing... 3rd round of laundry, my bedsheet and duvet cover... Vacuumed my room and wiped all the dust away... The feeling is simply too great... Everything seems so clean and new... Just like me... The Shi Hui today feels so different from yesterday... I am the new Shi Hui today... Hi everyone...

When I was thinking back on the whole incident, I actually gave myself a smile... I am surprised... I am supposed not to think about it anymore but somehow I have the courage to reflect on the whole incident... Who told me what??? I remembered very clearly... What lesson should I take from the whole episode??? I am very sure about it... It feels amazing... I guess I am never that awake and sober before today...

Love indeed is a powerful tool... It can make he/she tries to shoulder all the other party's blames... Believe me... If someone loves you, he/she is willing to die for you... You will never be wrong in his/her eyes... I experienced it myself...

As for friends, in order not to offend any party in the argument, it is always advisable to say "Both are at fault..." But I don't expect much either as I understand their dilemma... No worries on that part...

As for your soul mate and old buddy, they will be there to back you up all the way... In their opinion, you will never be wrong... As for me, no doubt I want everyone to back me up... So, this category of people suits me best... I like to listen to their advice because I will never ever be wrong in any way... And the most important part is, I do not have to say sorry at all...

End of my reflection... No offence from this post... I am just voicing out my own opinion on the whole episode... Who loves me and who doesn't, I am clearer than anyone else... You guys are forever missed by me still... Don't worry...

It marks the beginning of a new chapter of my life... Yesterday was indeed a foul day for me... Created a new record... Crying marathon... Cried for 7hours with 2hours break in between... Anyone up for the challenge??? And now my eyes are painful... Sweat... It seems that the tap is broken... I wanted to turn it off so badly but then it can't be turned off... Hmmm... But I manage to find a repairman just now... You guys should know who he is... Everything is settled.. I cried not for anyone else... I cried for myself... I am mourning for the demise of the old Shi Hui... The angelic soft-hearted and easily being bullied Shi Hui... Anyone disagree or feel like vomitting??? Hahaha... Don't worry... She won't come and haunt you... She wouldn't appear so easily anymore...

I realised how useless I am now... The moment something cropped up, all I know is to cry... Nothing else... The next thing is to grab the phone and make a call...Somehow after the phone call, I will know what to do... There is someone giving me the strength and solution all the time... I am being protected and pampered to the extreme now...

By the way, thanks for those who are there lending me your ears... Really appreciate it... You guys are simply wonderful... Life with you guys around are much more colourful indeed... A friend in need is a friend indeed...

I learnt a lot today... I got screwed from morning till night... It's time for me to wake up... I feel much much better now... Going to have a tight sleep tonight... Sweat... I have been doing my learning logs for the past few hours... It is actually a reflection of my lectures, workshops and independent studies... All these are equivalent of digging out history... I have to think of how do I feel, what problem I encountered, what have I learnt, etc... Anything you can name it... Sounds very silly... But this is what I am supposed to do... I have to hand in those entries towards the end of the semester and churn out a 1500 words report for the reflective logs... Gosh... I hate this module and yet I am doing so much for it... Reflecting so much on everything... I am going to have nightmares tonight... The module booklet will be waving at me together with the lecture slides flying around... I am going nuts soon... I can't even recall certaint things... Let alone remembering how do I feel at that particular point of time... Can I just write BORING in every entry??? Hahaha...

It has been quite a few days since I dropped a few lines here... This week classses are as usual... As boring as usual... On the other hand, I am as lazy as ever... Hahaha... I managed to get something done too... Some small little tiny stuff... Major stuff needs more motivation... Sigh... I couldn't find motivation in Bristol... How come???

Next week, I am having a presentation... Hopefully everything goes well... Not going to mention about my assignments... I am sure you guys are tired listening to me repeating the same thing... Even I feel tired also... So, in order to make myself not tired, I have to get rid of those annoying stuff as soon as possible... Wish me heaps of luck...

Hmmm... I am trying to stay away from city centre... Too many things in my mind now... I want to learn to meditate now... I want to control my emotions well and able to control my mind well... My housemate lent me a few books on meditation... I am quite interested... I have been emo-ing for no apparent reason very easily lately... Meditation may be something good for me... Hahaha...

Not forgetting to say "Congrats" to May Joan... Found her happiness... Wish her be as sweet as Chee Siang and Ci Pei or even sweeter also never mind... Hahaha...

I seriously seriously need to pull up my socks before I regret... Lately, I notice some improvements in me... Hope I can keep it up and have more improvements... I still want to graduate next year and go back Malaysia...

First and foremost... Happy 21st Birthday darling Muhe... Hehe...

Today I finally go to Bristol Zoo... Yay... FINALLY... The zoo here is really cool... What got me really excited are the seals and penguins... But somehow I am quite disappointed... I didn't get to see horse, tiger, pig, giraffe and elephant... Wonder why Bristol doesn't have such animals... No doubt I see a lot varieties of monkeys, insects, frogs, rats and tortoises... Overall, the zoo trip is fun... Imagine 5 girls whose aged average 20 visited the zoo... Hahaha...

After the zoo trip, we went to Shanghai Nights to have dinner... Oh my goodness... The food there is simply delicious... I can't believe that 4 girls can actually eat so much... We really had a lot a lot... The dim sum is nice... The roast duck is nice... It made me drool now although I am still very very full... Hehe... Where will be our next destination then??? Wahaha... Can't wait can't wait!!!

Time flies... My break is coming to an end... Monday my class will resume as usual... I have been really enjoying a lot this break... Hahaha... Fully recharged now... Time to find back my concentration to do assignments...

Do I really seem to be enjoying a lot in Bristol???

Wee Meng said that of me... Michelle said that of me... My cousin said that of me... If one person says it, maybe he/she is wrong... When 3persons say it, high possibility it can't be wrong, right??? Everytime someone asked me, "How are you?" and before I answer their question, they will be saying, "You must be enjoying yourself there..." Hey... You are supposed to wait for my answer instead of answering it on my behalf... But WAIT!!!

When I am down and crying alone, do u guys know??? When I miss my family and friends badly, all I can do is only seeing them through webcam or called them... I miss the touch... But I don't deny the fact that I enjoy the shopping, scenery and environment here except for the "housewife" part where I have to do housework, buy groceries and cook... Not to forget about the cold crazy weather which experiences PMS too... The weather here is sometimes too emo... Unpredictable...

The next question is, do I seem happier in Bristol than I was in Malaysia??? Chan said that I sound cheerful in MSN... She is even more "geng"... She can feel my feelings through those words that I typed in MSN... Hahaha...

Somehow Shi Hui seems to be more suitable to stay in Bristol... When I was back in Malaysia, no one ever said that I am enjoying my life... People hardly said that I am cheerful... Distance makes the heart grows fonder... You guys must be missing me a lot... Wakaka... I do really enjoy the feeling of being missed by others... I do really really enjoy the feeling of being cared and concerned by others... Hehe... I am honest this time... I am a normal girl too... I do feel touched easily...

Bristol Day Trip at 10112008...

Hmmm... We (Huay Jiun, Chi Ying, Siok Kuan and Shi Hui) were supposed to go to the Bristol Zoo and Suspension Bridge today... I was really really excited about the trip... Somehow it has been quite long since I last visited the zoo... Haha... Bristol Zoo will be way different from the zoo we have in Malaysia, ok??? And I have never been to the Suspension Bridge before... However, due to some unforeseen circumstances such as weather and blurness, we were unable to make it to the Bristol Zoo today... The zoo trip has been postponed to Friday... *fingers crossed* We will be able to make it, hopefully...

Overall, the trip was fun except for poor Siok Kuan who could not join us to the Suspension Bridge and of course the thai food dinner because she has to work... Luckily, we managed to have Nando's for lunch... Wakaka... Nice food and great fun... Nevertheless, our dear organiser, Huay Jiun brought us to a few unexpected places... Never in our plan to pay a visit at Cribbs Causeway... But we were there... Never in our plan to have Nando's at Cribbs Causeway too... Yet, we had our lunch there... Wahaha...

However, really grateful for such a wonderful trip... Thanks darling... Muackssss...

I am waiting for Friday's arrival... I am going to the zoo!!!

What is wrong with me??? I feel like crying so much... I really really really feel like crying... I cried yesterday... I cried just now... And yes, I am crying now too... I feel vexed and frustrated... Somehow I seem to have a lot of things in my mind... Where and how should I start??? Where is the starting point and where is the ending point??? God knows...

Can I hide under my blanket and allow myself to have a big cry for the second time in my life??? I am not homesick... I called mummy two days ago and chatted with her for almost an hour... Everything is good and everyone is fine back at home...

I admit I am easily influenced by people around me... Their mood affects my mood but never in such an extent... Knowing Chew is down but having no idea on what should I do made me really bad... Gloating over someone's failure somehow made me feel bad too...

I sudddenly feel so lonely and empty... I need a shoulder for me to cry on... Xiao Qi Gui, you told me that tears should be reserved for happy occassion and I should not shed my tears easily... Yet now I am wasting my tears on unnecessary stuff and the amount is huge this time...

After almost 2months I am in Bristol, today is the day when I cried so bitterly... This is not homesick... Is it pressure that I am venting out now??? I hope it is... At the very least, I know what went wrong... Crying for no apparent reason is damn silly... And not having anyone by your side is pathetic... YES!!! I AM SILLY AND PATHETIC NOW...

I am in the mood to blog now... Somehow I had a very satisfying lunch just now... First porridge in Bristol... That's not the VIP yet... The VIP is... *drum rolls please* "cai bu egg"... You guys should know what's that... It's salted carrot if I am not mistaken... And it tastes great with porridge... Hahaha... I received a packet last week from Malaysia... It's from my 3rd sis actually... She bought it for me to fry with eggs... So sweet of her... A simple meal can make me in the best of mood... Haha...

By the way, can I take back what I said in my last post??? One shopping trip during the one week study week does not seem enough..."One shopping trip only during independent study week... The rest of the week will be my confinement at home... Deal!!! Hahaha..." THIS STATEMENT IS NO LONGER VALID!!! IT'S VOID!!! I am going back on my words again... I know... I PLEAD GUILTY... I want to go Birmingham... I want to go Bath... Gosh... I want to go Cribbs Causeway... I want to go Bristol Zoo... I want to go Cabot Circus... Eesh... This is frustrating enough... Can someone tell me how to control not to think of shopping so much???

I want to buy bag, shoes, shirts, pants, jackets and hoodies which I have them all... I miss spending in Ringgit Malaysia... At the very least, I don't have to think about converting... And I have my sis to sponsor me once in a while... I miss my jie... *sob sob* She'll buy me bag and shoes... She'll pay for my meal... I should have really knock my head for daydreaming too much... Shopping can really make me go mad... Sigh... I need to divert my attention!!!

Tomorrow is my big day!!!

Gosh... I am feeling nervous now... Pre-big day syndrome??? Hahaha... Don't worry... It's not my wedding tomorrow... It's the submission date for my dissertation... At this point of time, this is far more important than my marriage... It's a 40 credit module which can have a great impact on my degree classification...

I am worried about it since Friday... Serves me right for doing it at the last minute... Finally, my topic has been finalised... *fingers crossed* Please do not reject my topic... I will have heart attack if my topic is being rejected... I cannot imagine the amount of journal I have to go through again... I have to sit in front of the laptop from morning till night facing the PDF files and repeating certain words for hundreds of times...

I hope tomorrow will be my day... Once my topic is accepted, I am going to work hard on it... AMA and IF assignments, I'll be coming over to you soon... Please be patient... I haven't forget about you... Better pull up my socks now or else there gone my Christmas trip... Next week is independent study week... Sigh... Time flies... Half of the semester gone just like that and I am still honeymoon-ing...

I MISS MALAYSIA!!! I miss the sun... I miss the food... I miss my hot chocolate... I miss the weather... I miss the people there... I miss the yumcha session... I miss my bed... I miss my house... I miss mummy... I MISS EVERYTHING!!!

I don't like the weather now... The temperature is driving me nuts... It's forever so cold even with four layers of clothing... This is when I didn't even step out of my room yet... I didn't even open my window... And there's heater some more...

With the heater on without opening the window, my nose will bleed... But if I open the window, I'll be freezing... What should I do???

My hands crack, my waist cracks, my thigh cracks... This happens even when I apply lotion everyday... Tell me what I should do again??? At the very least, I don't experience all these when I am back in Malaysia... This is plain torturing... I am miserable enough... I am suffering now...

It's not officially winter yet... Will I be able to survive through winter??? God bless me... Now only I realise how bad I am in taking care of myself... Been having bad cough lately... Sigh... I miss the Shi Hui back in Malaysia who does not fall sick easily and does not have any skin problem...

Cold, cold, cold...

Winter seems to be really coming... I feel like freezing all the time... No more short pants to UWE... No more short pants at home... No more less clothes... It's all about thick clothes!!! Thick winter jackets... More layer of shirts... If possible, I would like to cover my face too... Can't even breathe properly with your nose... Road being slippery all the time... Hands have to be hidden... Omg... I guess winter is the most suffering season of all...

Yesterday morning on my way to UWE, all the cars were covered with ice... Can't believe it... The previous night it was raining and I guess the temperature was too low, that's the reason why all the water turns into ice and as a result the roads and cars are covered with ice... It's not snow... Too bad...

This morning, I decided to wear the thick jacket which I bought from Malaysia... It's meant for winter... It's a 2 layer jackets and I only wore one of it... All the way from my house to UWE, I hid my hand in the pocket... And guess what... When I reached UWE, my hand actually sweat... Hahaha... I didn't know that this jacket is so warm... Hahaha... I am going to wear it more often now...

Yesterday I went to city centre again... In the last few post, I mentioned that I am not going to the city centre for 2-3 weeks... BUT I went yesterday... Hehehe... And of course I ended up buying something... End of story... No need further elaboration because I am found guilty of breaking my own promise... Sweat... :S I PLEAD GUILTY!!!

Oh ya... Busy weeks are coming... Need to get started with my assignments... No time to daydream and have fun anymore... God bless me... Don't worry... I will have time to blog... Hehe...

Hahaha... Today I got my second PARCEL from Malaysia... Happy happy... This time the parcel consists mostly of food and clothes... I really can't imagine the amount of food my mum sent me... From my asam paste, tomyam paste, curry powder, chilli sauce, fried onion, garlic, ginger, anchovies, yee mee, mee hoon, pickled vegetables, white pepper to chrysanthemun tea and herbal tea... Wahaha... Mummy is preparing for my winter... All I have to do is to stock up more canned food... That's it... So sweet of her... She sent me the cream that I asked for... The medicine that I didn't ask for... Hahaha... I am just too satisfied... Then there is this another 20kg which will be on its way quite soon... One more parcel before Chinese New Year... That will be my cookies... I can't wait... There's another surprise parcel that I am expecting from my "Xiao Qi Gui"... Wonder when he will send it... And what's the content... That's the most important part... Hehe...

These few days the weather is pretty bad... The temperature dropped tremendously... It won't exceed 10 degree C within these few days and it will drop to below 0 degree C during night sometimes... Is that the symptom of winter??? It's a bit scary... Just like now... It's raining and I do hear thunder??? Gosh... I am freezing cold now... :S

Someone from Malaysia actually told me he had nasi lemak the other day... As a result, I have been craving for nasi lemak since last week... Been thinking day and night about nasi lemak... Can't imagine I am such a glutton, right??? Haha... I actually plan to try cooking nasi lemak next week... BUT, I simply can't wait till next week... Tried to cook my own version of nasi lemak with the limited ingredients I have, which are nasi + lemak... Hahaha... It turned out to be not that bad considering first attempt... At least it has the taste... Quite proud of it but I am sure I can improve on it better... Nasi lemak and chicken curry were my dinner, by the way...

Speaking of lunch, I am even prouder now... Guess what... I had MEE HOON KUEH in Bristol... Omg... Simply too satisfying... In fact, it's one of my favourite food back in Malaysia... Miss it a lot too... Just that I always thought it's not easy to make the dough... But it turns out to be quite easy... First attempt, edible and almost perfect... I am having more and more dishes in Shi Hui's Menu now...

However, I am going to spend lesser time in kitchen... My housemate actually advise me not to eat fresh... Since I am cooking for a meal, why don't cook more and put in the fridge... Just put in microwave if you feel like having it... I can save a lot of time although the food won't be that fresh... Going to try it out next week... See how it goes...

Anyway, I am just too satisfied with my so-called achievement... Last time, back in Muar, whenever I feel like eating anything, I'll just tell my mummy and she'll plan when to cook for me... Now, I have to overcome my food craving by thinking of how to prepare the food myself... Haha...

National Fatwa Council forbids tomboyism

KOTA BARU: The National Fatwa Council has ruled that tomboyism, where a girl behaves or dresses in a boyish manner, is forbidden in Islam.

Its chairman Datuk Dr Abdul Shukor Husin said the decision was prompted by recent developments as there had been cases of young women inclined to behave like men and indulging in homosexuality.

“Parents must guide their children from indulging in disruptive activities that are against Islamic teachings,” he told reporters at the close of a two-day meeting of council here on Thursday.
The meeting was held to discuss social ills confronting Muslims, including the issue of tomboyism. -- Bernama

Sigh... I guess in no time my size will really double or maybe triple by the time when I am going back to Malaysia... I keep feeling hungry lately... Whenever I am in front of the laptop, I have the urge of grabbing something to eat... Or I simply place too much food in my room and table... I just simply cannot concentrate...

But it has become a habit to have something to eat when I am doing some research... Yup... I am finding some article but my mind keep thinking of the chocolate on the shelf and the cake in the fridge... This is really sinful... The devil in me is acting up again... Darn you...

Gosh... For the past one month, I have been controlling well when it comes to my favourite hobby, shopping... I was so delighted because I thought I can resist the temptation...

BUT I am absolutely wrong... I am spending like nobody's business especially yesterday... No doubt I do feel gulity... But like what Sprina said, those stuff that I bought are necessities... Bag, handphone, shoes, clothes and perfume... Hmmm... True... But I still need to cut down my expenses especially in shopping... Sigh...

I am not going to city centre for the next 2-3 weeks... I promise... Even if I go, I am not supposed to buy any stuff... Speaking of which, I have the thought of going to Cribbs Causeway... I have one more thing to buy... Hahaha... Go away, the devil in me... Stop enticing me... I must learn not to be led by the devil in me...

I must substitute shopping with cooking... That will be even better... But I will grow fat very fast in that way... Hmmm... I need to search for new hobby... :S

What am I supposed to do???

Hmmm... Tell me... How do I convince you guys that I can actually cooked??? When I made known that I actually tried cooking curry chicken, everyone seems to doubt me... What I received is their laugh first before clarifying with me... Ok.. I admit I use the paste which is readily available... But at least I did put in some effort to try to come out with my own chicken curry... Or else you guys tell me, how do I survive for the past one month in Bristol??? Having instant food everyday??? No way... I hate instant noodles... But I do love pizza....

I need some support... Although the food that I cooked doesn't follow any recipe or what... It simply come out from my mind... Thinking back how my mum or grandma used to handle the food... Some turn out to be quite a failure while some turn out to be a success...

Come on... I even have the thought of becoming housewife in future... Haha... Back to serious matter now... I really learnt a lot about cooking ever since I came here... Method of cooking has never been a topic of discussion in MSN before but now it is... We discussed about the thing we bought at Sainsbury's the other day... How do we deal with it??? How do you cook the food??? It's something I always see my mum and aunties doing... But now I am behaving like one... Funny it may sound... But I am enjoying the whole process of preparing my own meal...

I am getting more and more comfortable with the life I am having now... It may be tiring sometimes... It may be quite empty and down sometimes... But I am sure this chunk of process will be a very sweet memory for me even when I am old...

So people out there... Give me some moral support at the very least... I haven't force you guys to eat my food... But be prepared... You will have the chance when I am back... Just wait and see...

Happy Birthday October babies... :)

Sorry sorry for the late post... I suddenly realise that there are a lot of October babies among my family and friends... Hmmm... Starting with Grace, Michelle Lee, Dad, 4th sis, Michelle Leong, Min Lee, Soo Ching, small sis, Mun Yee and many many more... It seems such a wonderful and a month worth celebration... Oops... I guess I am being over... I am not an October baby... :P

Last Saturday, Michelle Leong (sorry I have to put in surname as there are 2 Michelles who are October babies) had her 21st birthday party in advance... Sadly, I could not attend it... This is the first time I miss her birthday party... Sorry girl... I wanted so much so much to attend but too bad the situation doesn't allow at all... BUT my family was there to "represent" me... Erhem... I sound so VIP... Just kidding here... My family was actually invited... Mummy bought her a necklace and I am super jealous about it now... I even asked my sis, when is mummy going to buy me one??? Hehe... No worries... I will get mine soon... As for my gift for her this year, my wishes was actually there way in advance...

Not forgetting that last Saturday was my dad's birthday as well... I took so much effort to type him a letter in chinese and then putting it together with his birthday card... And send him a sms on the day itself... According to my personal secretary in Muar, both mummy and dad felt happy to see the card... Just because they are embarassed to say that they are touched, that's why they didn't say anything... I trust my secretary... And then there are cards for my 2lovely sisters back in Muar who are celebrating their 14th and 8th birthday... Hahaha...

15th October is the birthday of my 4th sis cum my personal secretary back in Muar... She e-mailed me when there's any update... She's the one in charge of telling me the happenings in Muar... She's the one who is worried about my parcel... She's the one who tell mummy what I need at the moment... I never realised she's that sweet until I am here... She's the one I always fight and argue with at home... Mummy said we don't get along well just because she looks like me... Cheh... Anyway, mek er aka Shiyi, Happy Birthday!!! I've done all I could... You go out and find... See whose er jie is so nice... Hehe... :P

Although I am in Bristol, somehow my heart was with them at the moment... That's the thing that made me really comforted... Love can link more than 2hearts together... A million thanks to the postman who sent the cards on time and the flight which carried my warmest wishes all the way from Bristol to Muar... I finally understand what is meant by a simple greeting can melt the heart of others...

For the other October babies, I hope I didn't miss out anyone... Happy Birthday!!! Muacksss...
